Nicci Suave did an incredible job working with my 5 year old daughter, pre and post tongue tie release. She related so well to my daughter, and her enthusiasm is contagious! Prior to working with Nicci, my daughter had some anxiety about having a surgery—as one would expect—but Nicci explained the process so thoroughly and gently that my daughter wasn’t afraid when time came for her surgery. Post surgery, Nicci followed up with us multiple times to check in. My daughter was sad to have her last meeting with Nicci, as she just loved working with her. Working with Nicci was a God-send for our family! Our 6 year old daughter Sophie is neurodivergent and we needed to do all of our appointments via tele-health, which we initially thought would be a struggle. Nicci made Sophie feel very comfortable about the tongue exercises we needed to do prior to even being able to get the tongue tie revision that she needed to help her breathe better, especially at night. Nicci was able to work exceptionally well with this age making the goals attainable and even FUN! Communication was amazing and Nicci even sent us personalized videos of the exercises addressed specifically to Sophie, which pretty much guaranteed compliance! We were able to help Sophie do the exercises, get the procedure, and ensure long term success with Nicci’s follow up appointments. Nicci even gave me a personal call prior to Sophie’s procedure to help ensure we were prepared for what to expect during the procedure. I would not have shown up as well as I could have if not for Nicci’s guidance. Nicci is super passionate about Myofunctional therapy and it shows. She worked with our schedule and responded quickly to any questions. Truly one of the best health care professionals I have ever worked with. Highly recommend!!!
